Top 5 Cleaning Tips For Moms
Tip #1 Cleaning Microwaves
Kids love eating refrigerator dinners but the only problem with that is they always leave your microwave. In order to keep your microwave clean pour 2 cups of water and 1/2 a cup of white vinegar into a microwave-safe bowl. Set it in the microwave for about 3 minutes on full power. Let it sit for a few minutes. Remove the bowl carefully and wipe clean.
Tip #2 Keep Your Fridge Fresh
What is that weird smell the emits itself when you open your fridge door? Nothing smells worse than spoiled food in the fridge and knowing how your kids eat they will inevitable place food clear in the back that will go bad. In order to keep your fridge smelling fresh, place a piece of coal in one of the drawers in your fridge that will absorb all those food odors and keep things fresh.
Tip #3 Cleaning Children's Toys
So we know that germs grow like wild fires on your child's toys and that those toys eventually end up in your child's mouth. A lot of times we want to clean these toys but we aren't quite sure how to considering a lot of cleaners have chemicals that are harmful to our children and we don't want them to get sick. In order to clean those toys is by washing and sanitizing things like toys, baseball caps, galoshes, knee pads, potatoes, etc in your dishwasher.
Tip #4 Cleaning Window Blinds
One of the things I hate cleaning the most are window blinds, this never seems to work and all I do is end up putting all the dust on the blinds in the air and floor which will inevitably end up back on the blinds themselves. In order to clean your blinds use dryer sheets to clean your blinds, the chemicals in dryer sheets help to repel dust.
Tip #5 Keeping Your Oven Clean
About the only thing I hate cleaning more than window blinds is cleaning my oven which usually ends up going really bad after a while and I set off the fire alarm because of all the food that builds up on the oven floor. In order to keep your oven clean be sure to use an oven liner that you can pick up at Bed Bath and Beyond that can catch-all the food that falls and after your done cooking can be removed and cleaned.
